Today, for the third consecutive year, StoneShot took part in the Word’s Biggest Coffee Morning – an event hosted by Macmillan – an organization based in the UK, offering emotional, physical, and financial support to those diagnosed with cancer.

The event’s main goal is to bring people together to collect donations using nothing other than baked goods, coffee, and… fun games

This year our London and Stevenage offices brought their A-game to the kitchen by baking delicious treats that warranted donations, like cheesecakes, vegan cupcakes, and scones. Games were also played across both offices – our favorite being  ‘Dunk the biscuit in the cuppa’ – a fun twist on ‘Pin the tail on the donkey.’

Together we were able to donate towards Macmillan’s mission to top last year’s goal of £26,914,382.

“Macmillan Cancer Support is a cause we hold very near and dear to our hearts, particularly after the amazing support they gave to one of our employees during her fight with cancer. Macmillan is a great cause that we look forward to getting involved with each year.”
-Leane John, Director HR, StoneShot

Macmillan has a very large outreach, which means they need a lot of support. If you’re interested in donating to support their goal, you can still do so here.
