Even in 2019, email marketing isn’t slowing down. In fact, it is seen as the preferred method of communication by professional investors.

However, while email marketing has stood the test of time, using it to stand out in an industry that continues to become more and more saturated is becoming a challenge. You could spend time putting together what is deemed to be the ‘perfect’ email, only to risk the possibility of having it unopened and ignored.

Earlier this year, we pulled together a report to explain why this sometimes happens, and to provide some helpful ways for you to keep your marketing emails opened and engaged with by your audience.

In the report, we used real data from over 149,000 email campaigns sent to professional investors in the US and UK from StoneShot. Not surprisingly, the data did differ slightly per region, which is why segmenting your lists is one important thing to keep in mind when sending communications to a large group of people. You could segment by things like location, topics, and interests so that your emails are more targeted and relatable. Lists with 500 contacts tend to perform best.
