Over the past few decades, digital has been transforming the way we do business. Very quickly management methods, working habits and department business models seem to have changed without some organisations being designed to fit this new ideal.

In fact, organisation methods have developed so much that not all are effective enough to survive and guarantee success in the new digital era.

Organisations must be built to change, which in most cases requires rethinking and redesigning themselves completely. Digital transformation means revamping existing models thoroughly to include social, online and email at the core rather than applying a quick-fix that will only allow limited digital growth.

In order to adapt to this new work environment, organisations and their individuals need to build on their digital literacy. In addition to technical skills, such as using a digital device or software; it means you need to develop a large variety of cognitive, motor, social and emotional skills in order to function effectively in the new environment.
